Look: An opaque deep copper-red with a lovely looking dense, off-white head that settles to a lacy pillow and coats the glass with sticky lacing
Aroma: Coffee beans, cold-brewed coffee, resinous hop flowers, a little citrus, and bready malt – as a beer and coffee lover, this beer smells fantastic
Taste: Earthy, herbaceous, and citrusy hops along with roasted coffee beans scream onto the palate and are followed by an additional ‘clean’ coffee (think cold-brewed, as in zero harsh notes) wave that integrates well. Resinous and lingering hop flavors and coffee beans close it out
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, very clean throughout and on the finish with zero coffee harshness present
Overall: This is outstanding. A ridiculously well put together coffee/IPA hybrid with great coffee bean and drinkable coffee aromas and flavors that are integrated with lush herbaceous, earthy, and citrus hop notes. This is exactly what I look for in hybrid styles in that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. I love this series, even the hazies, and this is an awesome addition to the lineup. I’m kicking myself that I only grabbed a single 16oz can and not only will get more but I hope that Block 15 makes this a regular in the Dab Lab rotation. Tasty and highly recommended

Canned 22 Dec.
A clear copper with a dense off-white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is quite excellent. Bright citrus with orange, nectarine, pine and with a really bright coffee note, berry forward and fruity, complementing the hops well. Mild lactose notes. The palate opens bitter and fruity, with the citrus and coffee pairing well. The mid-palate has coffee, fruit with dried strawberry, a little mango and some floral notes, along with the more classic citrus and pine flavors. Drying with a mild sweetness on the finish, this is surprisingly excellent. Maybe a hair watery on the mid-palate.
