I had this beer on-tap in a snifter at Chuck's Hop Shop 85th in Seattle.

Appearance: medium orange hue with a light haze and a thin layer of ivory foam atop.

Smell: sweet malt with a solid dose of dank and earthy hops. It's maybe not 100% to my taste, but it's certainly not bad!

Taste: sweet, dank, and earthy, just like the aroma. It's a well-made beer if you're into this sort of IPA.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: like I said, though this particular flavor profile isn't my favorite, it's still a solid beer. Fans of dank, bitter IPAs will dig it.

Look: Slightly cloudy bright orange – like the can – with a silky-looking white head that rapidly forms ad holds, slowly pulling away and leaving picturesque patterns of lacing behind
Aroma: Mango, navel orange, apricot, peach, kumquats, wafts of pineapple, sweet raspberry, some conifer, and bready malt
Taste: Pine and fir needles along with oranges jump start the flavor train as other citrus fruit and peach weave their way in to join. Pineapple, apricot, and berries have their moment in the middle as well as more sappy conifer all atop a nice malt base before citrus returns for the close, along with a nice bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and felt, light to medium strength dryness on the finish
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. I didn’t think I’d ever had this IPA from these folks so wanted to pick some up and I’ve been missing out on one damn delicious WCIPA. A nice citrus/conifer/tropical fruit presence, all in balance and with a hearty malt backbone, plus an old-school-like bite and some dryness. I want more already and recommended too

Canned 3/22. Hazy pour, plenty of head. Strong aromas of tropical fruit. First sip is tasty. Has good bittering with a clean and dry finish. Better than most in that aspect. The taste ties in well with their use of both American and Australian hops. Malt is very much in the background. Good carbonation. Kinda an odd name, but we like it.

This stuff is delicious. The hops explode with tropical fruit. Not something you drink quickly.... Take a sip and savor the flavor. Much better than most Dab Labs I've tried.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, tropical fruit and lightly piney hops, mango, pineapple, passion fruit and a touch of pine and citrus. Flavor is lightly caramel malt, tropical and piney hops, pineapple, peach, mango, pine and lemon; piney, estery finish with solid bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A wonderful combination of fruit notes and pine, a combination that makes me appreciate fruity hops. I generally avoid any IPAs that mention lots of fruit, but this one sounded plausible and I really like Block 15's taste in hop flavors. This one enforces that trust. The dominant flavors are tropical, but there are lemon and clear piney notes. I'm not getting much of the nugg dankness, but this doesn't need it, there's a lot going on. Finishes with stone fruit esters and pine, a winning combination. Hope this becomes a regular offering.
