Brewed exclusively with Citra hops from B.T. Loftus Ranches in Yakima, Washington, the simple PNW-grain profile of this IPA allows Citra’s vibrant notes of intense citrus, pineapple, and passionfruit to shine.

Canned 5 March '26. 4 out of 4 for this year's single-hopped to date. Pour is the same across them all - light hazy, amber-yellow color, low head. Citra hops have been around for a long time and produce a dependably fruit taste. With a name like Citra, you can expect to get citrus and you won't be disappointed. Not overpowering and this version even comes up with a dose of malt, rounding out things. Finish is clean with some staying power.

This beer pours a nice golden color with a small to medium head. The aroma is citrus & smooth pineapple, not as bitter as I thought it would be. The mouthfeel is fairly light and smooth. Really liked this one.

this must change year to year, as the can pictured is from loftus, but the one i had was from e and b farms in idaho, same hops, different farmer, probably the same recipe too, but i am sure there are subtle differences, terroir, processing methods, all of it must manifest in some difference, maybe the should have their own listings here on BA as the farms change, would be cool to do a release one year where they do same varietals from different farms, but this is awesome to get to try, predictably fantastic, really pale and minimal on the malt side which is just what i want in a hop showcase like this, pale barley, fresh and all, but dry and out of the way, support for the hops only here. aroma is insane, certifiably citra, no denying that, absurdly forward, fresh, and bright. maybe a little less of the meyer lemon thing than they usually bring, more herbal, slightly sweet and oily, almost more pungent, even green than normal. hints of melon rind, vanilla bean, honeysuckle, and white tea, really dynamic and with a just picked pop to them, wow. the flavor is the same, no fall off from the nose at all, and an early start for something this dry hopped. its bold without burning, still real low bitterness, massively flavorful and with a long linger for being dry. juicy pear, honey, and lime zest nuance are all here too, and this is almost more citra than citra (good beer name). lighter bodied, almost too light, but good carbonation and some slickness from the hops. really impressive expression of this hop, makes me thirsty for another writing about it now. was awesome to run through a number of block 15 cans recently, they are good at so many things! i love the idea for this series too, featuring farms. awesome!

Pours a very opaque peach flesh yellow colour..lovely creamy/frothy cream coloured head.
fruity hop aromas..orange zest, lemongrass, peach skin, and mango..lovely
All there in the taste but not overwhelming.all the flavors blend into a lovely beer.
Great refreshing mouth feel to this..semi thick but well carbonated..yet flows silky smooth.
Really great single hop.

Look: Hazy yellow in color with a vigorously forming white head that pillows up and slowly recedes, leaving sticky lacing on the glass
Aroma: Peach, mandarins, pomelo, light wafts of pineapple, papaya, strawberries, gooseberries, and Cara Cara oranges. Outside of some sweetness, malt is minimal on the nose
Taste: Huge citrus fruit, peach, berry, and tropical fruit notes explode onto the tongue upon the initial sip and subsequent ones only broaden the range of these flavors/aromas. Berries definitely shine in the middle and closes with more citrus and tropical fruit salad
Mouthfeel: Full but pretty light feeling surprisingly, medium-high carbonation, some slickness, and a welcome light hop bite and mild astringency on the finish
Overall: This is really tasty and well done. As both a Block 15 and single-hopped beer fan, I knew I wanted to try any of this series that I found so was pumped to see this the other day and it was an easy purchase. Although I’m not typically a hazy fan, this breaks a lot of the usual ‘hazy’ mold – light feel, a hop bite, and a lightly astringent finish. An unbelievably delicious showcase of Citra’s greatness and this example only amplifies my desire to try each and every one of this particular series of beers. Highly recommended
