A full-bodied lager that features toasty, sweet maltiness with a restrained hop profile. This classic German-style beer dances with notes of bread, spice, and pine. Helles Bock is a smooth and clean lager that finishes delightfully dry.

Look: Clear pale to golden yellow in color with a fast-forming and equally quick to settle head that finishes as a film, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, raw dough, floral hops, light toasted grain notes, some honey, wafts of pilsner malt, and biscuits
Taste: Dough, grains, flowers, and bread kick it off and soon after, honey-sweetened pilsner malt and biscuit begin to weave their way in. The floral notes – honeysuckle, daylily, and tea olive – along with bready notes continue to develop in strength and depth until it’s all rejoined by honey and dough for the close
Mouthfeel: Full but light feeling, very clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and a soft, clean, and lightly crisp finish
Overall: This is delicious stuff. I love a good Heller Bock and was jacked to see these folks decided to make and package one as it’s hard to find craft ones in general. It totally blew me away as well with lots of malty goodness and enough floral hops to keep it balanced but also lots of depth that I didn’t necessarily expect but was impressed with from Block 15. Well done and highly recommended

16 oz. can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR.
$2.99
Pours a clear golden coloured body with a large creamy/frothy white head.
Aroma is of light caramel sweet malts..Some honey comb in there. Simples.
Taste very malty indeed..its not too sweet but it is quite sweet if you get my meaning. Could use some balance.
Mouth feel is average for style..sweet again in the end..though not cloying.
I liked this as i drank it ice cold...i think if it heats up the unbalanced sweetness would be too much

Can from Market of Choice.

A clear copper with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing this looks solid. The nose is rich and bready, creamy, toasty, mildly caramel like with a mild creamy hop character. A strong lager smell and taste, a blend of cereal and mild alcohol and sugar, are present. The palate opens with a blend of cereal, grain, bread, sugar and a mild bitterness. The mid-palate is simpler, sweeter, with a slightly rough caramel and sugar flavor, with a lack of sufficient hop character to balance it out. Sweet, mildly caramel like, mildly bready on the finish. Solid.
