Clear golden yellow brew with plenty of foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Spritzy on the tongue. Sudsy and lush carbonation. Mellow with a warm malty undertone. The spruce is just a zippy aromatic but really adds to the taste. Doesn't smell like a Christmas tree but like some unknown flowery, lemony sweet bread.

Hops are kept from dominating the scene though they say it's brewed with different hop extracts. I think this might be the best spruce flavored beer I've had. From the 16 oz can purchased at Whidbey beer works. Dated 07/08/21 on the bottom.

Fine looking IPA. Slightly hazy, modest head, subdued carbonation. Get the fir, piney notes in the aroma, but catch it quickly as it fades away. Taste is mainline NWIPA, up front bitterness and longish finish. The spruce is well managed, being present but not dominating. Well done.
