First time I’ve chosen any other beer over Sticky Hands. Think I made the right choice…

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and piney hops, orange, pine needles and mild stone fruit. Flavor follows with citrus and piney hops, orange, lemon, pine and light stone fruit. Finishes with great alpha oil bitterness and lingering citrus and pine. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A somewhat light pale malt base, but full of well bittered classic Citra and Simcoe hops. My heart always sinks a bit when an IPA pours somewhat hazy, but no fears here, no old-juice-from-last-night hazy IPA action here. The body leans a bit towards a pale ale, but the hopping is solid IPA. A new Block 15 is always worth trying and this is no exception. I guess this is well into to this 2 hop series (#10, in fact), but the first I've seen on our market. They started perfectly for me, and I love both these hops. I'll be trying the next iteration as well. Not sure this should be on here as a New England IPA, it's solid West Coast, even with the light haze.
