Look: Slightly opaque medium orange with a lacy and rapidly ballooning head that begrudgingly settles to a lid and coats the glass with lacing
Aroma: Ripe navel oranges, raw orange peel, tangerines, Cara Cara orange, freshly cut grass, and a lightly sweet malt note in the background
Taste: Whoa, the aroma didn’t do this taste justice, though I don’t think I’m at 100% in that department yet post-Covid. Starts as a huge mouthful of what tastes like chewing on raw hop cones and cut grass that transitions into a puree of oranges and its relatives (mandarins, tangerines, tangelos, etc.). Malt support is there when you can dig deep to find it and closes with another hop cone and citrus blast, along with a huge, pithy bite
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, medium-high carbonation, and medium strength dryness on the finish
Overall: Dang, this is good stuff. It didn’t take looking at the can to tell it was Amarillos they used as to me, those are always orange-bombs when they’re brewed with and this also still has plenty of fresh hop character, even at a few weeks out. I love what these folks do overall and with their hoppy stuff so was pumped when they joined the fresh hop train last year (finally) with a Strata version of this, though that one was a just pale ale unlike this year's IPA, and this year’s version is another winner. Very glad I didn’t hesitate on the 4-pack, even though it was kind of pricey – worth it and recommended

Can from Uptown Market.
A clear amber with a dense off-white head with excellent retention and lacing this looks great. The nose has a nice fresh hop Amarillo character with citrus pith, orange peel, and a mildly catty pine. A touch chalky on the nose. The palate opens bitter, clean and soft, with a pleasant hop character with fresh hops less noticeable. Pine, orange, candied orange peel, grapefruit are all present. Drying, with an oily bitterness that's truly palate coating but gently, the mouthfeel is great. Quite lovely.

Great can art. Hard to beat. Beer is really, really good. Bright amber pour, plenty of suds and a good helping of fine beer under it all. Taste is a fruit experience, almost a juicy-fruit melding of tropical mangoes with bright peach. Well carbonated, clean finish. We've had a lot of Fresh Hop craft so far this season and this is a top contender.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, citrus hops, orange, grapefruit and a little celery. Flavor is pale and lightly caramel malt, citrus and light piney hops, grapefruit, light pine needles, orange and lemon. Piney, grapefruit rind finish with solid, assertive bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. I like Amarillo hops, so I had great expectations from this offering from Block 15. Sure enough, it hit all the right notes. Great citrus notes as well as a bit more pine than I expected, but it was quite welcome. Single hop ales are not as complex as many IPAs with mixed hops, but this had more character than just citrus. The last few fresh hops I had were satisfactory in the bittering department, but this has Amarillo's powerful alpha character and it makes this really enjoyable for me. All the fresh hops have been fine this year, but this is my favorite so far.
