I've never liked a malt forward beer as much as this one. Tastes like drinking delicious bread. Absolutely and eye opening beer.

Look: Dark amber-red, almost brown and clear with a short-lived beige head that leaves minimal lacing behind
Aroma: Warm brown bread, subtle wheat notes, toffee, light molasses, caramel, toasted cereal grains, and some earthiness
Taste: Toffee along with molasses-dipped brown bread kick it off and some nice toasted cereal grain notes quickly follow. A little caramel and melanoidin peek in aside wafts of both wheat and light rye spiciness before molasses returns in prominence to close it out
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, very clean throughout, and a soft and clean finish
Overall: I’m really digging this one. I love these folks already and love the concept as well as hops get and have gotten most of the “hype” as the craft beer scene has exploded over the past decade plus. An awesome combo of rich, subtle, and unique flavors/aromas come out of this extremely attractive style to me personally after a fun and long fresh-hop season

Can from Uptown Market

A dark amber with a dense, light brown head, this looks good. The nose is a really rich and deep expression of malt. Light coffee, cocoa, earth, husk, toffee, mildly spicy , brown sugar... such depth! The palate opens with a lot of rich and sweet malt flavors on a light body. Brown sugar, molasses, toffee,a little biscuit, all tempered by a mild hop bitterness, leafy and earthy. Dusty cocoa, a little chicory are present. Drying, mildly bitter with a blend of hop-based and grainy bitterness lingering. Lovely!
