16oz can

Pours a finger of white head into my Willi. Retention is sub-par and the head fades within a minute or so. Lacing is patchy but not horrible. Body is pale yellow, crystal clear, with a modest amount of bubbles coming up. Looks alright.

Nose has corn, extremely faint floral notes. Some creaminess, but less than other examples. A little sweetness. Not bad.

Flavor hits a little brighter and effervescent. Floral, maybe even a light citrus. Faint cream, even less than the nose. Tastes good.

Carbonation is medium-high. Pretty light bodied. Bitterness is low. Well attenuated and pretty crisp. Mouthfeel is nice enough.

Drinkability is good.

Pretty good, but I like a little more malt and mouthfeel from my cream ales. This drinks closer to your standard lager in flavor and body.

Look: Nearly clear straw colored and the pour yields a lively and short-lived head that settles to a film, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Straw, floral hops, freshly baked bread, bread dough, and a little sweetness
Taste: Bread, dough, and floral hops hit first and are quickly followed by straw and a light honey-like sweetness that stays just in the background. Straw and dough dominate the middle before floral hops return to the fold to close it out
Mouthfeel: Light but full, very clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and a clean and soft finish
Overall: I dig it. I love a good cream ale and am a huge fan of these folks’ offerings so kind of knew I would like it unless it was flawed, which it definitely isn’t. Nice bready malt, dough, straw, and floral hops all in a clean and easy-to-quaff package. I will be buying more of this and would recommend it as well

Light amber, modest head, no aroma. A mild malt-forward taste, bit of sweetness from the corn adjuncts, fading hops on the finish. ABV is a modest 4.5%. This would probably be ok for your sister-in-law that only likes "light" beers. Priced at craft sticker price range, $3.99 for a 16oz can at New Seasons . That would buy you something better.

16oz can from Roth's West Salem market.
$3.00.
Simple black label with large "College" in white.
Pours pale yellow, canola oil colour with a large creamy white head.
Aroma is quite pleasing. slight floral hops amongst light crackerish malts.
Taste semi sweet with aforementioned floral hops.
Creamy body but thins out rapidly towards the end.
Simple low alcohol beer. Nice enough
