Clear amber brew with abundant foam in the New Belgium snifter. Lush and sudsy mouthfeel with a tangy edge. Fruity and warm with malt. Hugely aromatic with lime, orange, and peach. Big melon flavor. Just enough sweetness to make the fruit even better.

This is another of my favorite IPAs lately. Fruity and lively with a moderate bitterness. Some acidity, but imagine this with the juice yeast and some raw wheat to muck it up! From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 11/30/21.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing, looks nice. Aroma is mildly caramel malt, mixed fruit hops, berries, mild light stone fruit, hints of tropical fruit and a little dankness. Flavor is pale malt with a hint of caramel, fruit and mild citrus hops, a melange of mixed fruit that is hard to parse, but leans to berries, stone fruit and citrus. Great, slightly dank, fruit and citrus rind bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I'm grateful to this series of IPAs because they are consistently bitter in the finish, but introduce me to the fruity hops more common in bland, hazy NE style IPAs. Both the hops here are fruit forward, and the flavor is tough to parse, but not muddled. The complex fruit flavors with a bitter, somewhat dank finish are a winning combination for me; one of those IPAs that invite constant sipping just to seek out flavors. Satisfying.
