Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus, dank and tropical hops, orange, pineapple, papaya, passion fruit and herbal dankness; aromatic. Flavor is pale malt, citrus, dank and tropical fruit hops, lemon and orange zest, dankness, mango and papaya, overripe pineapple. Soft, light to medium bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate, silky creaminess. This is about the only series of hazy IPAs I try, because Block 15 has been fairly consistent in providing the bitterness level I crave. This one is softer and lightly bitter, but has an acceptable lingering bitterness. As usual, the hop bill in interesting, if a bit busy, with expected tropical fruit but also more traditional citrus and some good dankness, which might be the dominant component. The aroma on opening is stellar. Pleasant, but unidentifiable fruit esters are revealed in the finish. The body and mouthfeel are excellent. With a little more bitterness, this would be on my "like to get again" list (which sadly is nearly worthless because most hazies are one-offs). A worthy hazy, which is high praise from me for this style.
