Look: Crystal clear light yellow with a gorgeous-looking white head that quickly forms a pillow, slowly settling and leaving great lacing behind as it does
Aroma: Floral hops, rice water, pilsner malt, wafts of honey, and soda crackers
Taste: Floral hops come on with a purpose and led by notes of Hall’s honeysuckle, European olive, and spirea before being joined by pilsner malt. Rice water becomes evident in the middle and the cracker-like malt is ever-present throughout before closing with a kiss of honey-like sweetness
Mouthfeel: Light but not watery, extremely clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean and crisp on the finish
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. My last of this trio of packaged 15th Anniversary beers and a well-made example of a rice lager. Checks all the style boxes – clean, crisp, rice presence evident, flowers, and honey, and all coming together in a delicious package. Recommended like all these have been and cheers to OSU’s Fermentation Science Department as well

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of pilsner malt, grassy hops and toast. Flavor is lightly grainy pilsner and rice malt, white bread, light grassy hops and lightly floral field hay, mildly sweet and mellow. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. It's been a while since I've had this style, but it has the pleasant, lightly malty and slightly sweet character I remember. Nice gran notes here that are reminiscent of a kolsch. I don't often look for a session beer, but this lager is the type I'd look for. Very nice nice mouth feel and body; more robust than I expect from the style. Don't know why this is the future, but I could live in it.

Pours a pale golden with plenty of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Light but sprightly, it has a pleasant cereal taste with the tangy finish. All very elegant, clean, and satisfying. Some resiny notes in the finish and a hint of bitterness. This is quite delicious, another Rice Lager that is light but flavorful. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated but not legible.
