Look: Golden yellow and clear on the pour, which jump starts a lively white head to rapidly form and slowly settle to a pillow, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Soda crackers, wafts of honey, flowers, straw, and pilsner malt
Taste: Opens up with pilsner malt and light honey-like sweetness that hold for a quick moment before the floodgates open, letting floral hops storm in. Honeysuckle, daylily, true jasmine, Burkwood viburnum, and cherry blossoms all pair well with the cracker-like malt through to the close
Mouthfeel: Light but full, extremely clean, crisp, medium-high carbonation, and crisp and clean on the finish
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. As a huge fan of both Block 15 and Helles lagers, I figured I would like this and to nobody’s surprise, did. It’s a delicious, well-made, and no-nonsense Helles that checks all the style boxes for me and has a ton of flavor packed into a simple, light, and quaffable package. Prost!

Handsome brew with amber color and lots of creamy foam in the snifter. Mouthfeel is likewise creamy, lively, and smooth. Inviting aroma of fresh straw and roasted grain. Elegant taste of cereal with a pleasant warm taste. Overall this is another excellent Helles Lager. From the 16 oz can purchased at Town & Country market. DAted 10/02/23.
