Collaboration with Baerlic Brewing of Portland, OR. From the label: Bringing together the holy trifecta of hop blends, we're swapping our selected hop lots of Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic with Baerlic Beer Co., and vice versa. You might have seen this beer before...or is it an illusion?

Look: Pours a medium yellow with a fast-forming head that settles to a lid, leaving nice lacing behind
Aroma: Pine, white grapefruit, tangerine, diesel, blueberries, skunky and fruity Cannabis, orange, light tropical fruit, and bready malt
Taste: Kicks off with sappy and resinous pine that ooze onto the palate and quickly joined by grapefruit, orange, and tangerine notes. Berries and dank come on next and hold the spotlight on their own before blending with the pine and light tropical fruit dances in the background throughout until it closes with pine, diesel, and a nice but light bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, clean, medium-high carbonation, and a kiss of dryness on the finish
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. A delicious and well-made WCIPA that utilizes the I call the Holy Trinity of hops; Simcoe, Citra, and Mosaic, and showcases them quite well. It all comes together in a clean package with good feel and a light bite and dry finish which spells a winner for me. Recommended

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, piney, citrus and dank hops, orange, light stone fruit and pine. Flavor is pale malt, piney and citrus hops, orange, grapefruit, pine needles, mild light stone fruit. Piney and citrus rind finish with moderate bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I never saw the Baerlic version of this collaboration, but this one is solidly in the West Coast profile with lots of citrus and pine character. Somewhat subdued bitterness; satisfactory for the style but with some softness to the flavor and not as forward as many other Block 15 offerings. Still, any West Coast style IPA is welcome and as usual from these two breweries, this is a worthy one.
