We're reaching for new heights with this luxurious take on an American classic. Featuring notes of pine resin, dank herb and sweet citrus, it all balances with a soft and enticing malt backbone.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a one finger white head that slowly dissipates to a thin cap with light lacing. Aroma of pale malt, piney and citrus hops, pine, orange, grapefruit and some dankness. Flavor follows with pale malt, piney, dank and citrus hops, pine needles, tangerine, light grapefruit and some mild catty dankness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A fine West Coast IPA with a somewhat dry malt body. Lots of pine, juicy orange family fruit and a bit of dankness to spice things up. Drier than my usual favorites, but the hops are so winning that it's a minor quibble. Always happy to have a classic tasting IPA from this brewery.
