Look: Golden yellow and clear with a booming white head that holds as a pillow, leaving great lacing around the rim
Aroma: Kiwi, white table grapes, starfruit, wafts of lychee, cara cara orange, mandarins, gooseberries, fruity dank, and bready malt
Taste: Follows the nose well as it is jump-started by a litany of tropical fruit that slowly unpacks, all while developing depth and soon followed by sweet and juicy citrus fruit and berries. These all develop synergy as some grape and gooseberry notes pop in throughout and closes with a resinous, dank note and a nice bite
Mouthfeel: Full, very clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean on the finish with some light dryness
Overall: I dig it. This was a tasty treat and gift from my co-worker that I was eager to try, not having a lot of experience with either Talus or Krush hops. They are good if this beer tells the story and the tropical fruit/citrus/berry combo is very unique and delicious. Be on the lookout for this one

Fruity and intense. Pours a clear golden yellow with plenty of foam in the spiky hand-blown tumbler. Aromatic with orange peel and mango. Taste is orange and more citrus with a bitter finish. Some melon and pineapple juice as well. If it wasn't so bitter it would be better, but then how would you know you were having a real West Coast experience? I don''t mind a little guesswork. From the 16 oz can purchase at Elizabeth Station. Dated 04/08/25.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale and lightly caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, grapefruit, orange, passionfruit and a little pine; herbal. Flavor follows, with pale malt with a hint of caramel, citrus, tropical fruit and piney hops, grapefruit, mixed tropical fruit, lemon, pine and a little dankness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A hybrid style West Coast IPA (traditional citrus and pine, but with tropical fruit notes too). Interesting flavor progression; dryish citrus and pine at first with tropical fruit and esters developing, then finally drying out into a citrus rind and piney finish with almost no tropical fruit. I enjoyed the ride. Although I deliberately did not get the hazy "Side B", I'm now intrigued and will see if it is still around. As usual with Block 15, solid and satisfying bitterness in the finish.
