Canned 4 March '26. Pour is an attractive pale amber, sporting a thick head Nose is bright citrus / fruit. First sip gives you a flavor feast: picking up mango, overripe berries, kiwi. That's a heavy load for a single-hopped beer, but the El Dorado seems to carry it well. Finish is short, picking up a bit of malt smoothness. A very nice beer for fruit fans.

Look: Dull yellow on the pour, which excites a lush, white head to form and slowly settles to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Cara cara orange, Sumo mandarins, raspberry, lemon-lime, mango, strawberries, navel orange, and bready malt
Taste: Opens up with a quick hit of lemon-lime and mango before transitioning to a full-on citrus assault. Orange juice, mandarin, and car acara orange lead the charge as berry notes interweave throughout. Mango and light tropical fruit lead to the close, along with more citrus
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and clean on the finish with a hint of dryness
Overall: I dig it. I love this series and the El Dorado one was new to me this year but honestly, I’ve never been blown away with what it brings to the table, so was curious how I’d feel about the variety after trying this. It is a tasty and well-made beer with some typical El Dorado elements; citrus, sweet citrus, berries, plus some tropical fruit, and sharp citrus notes that I didn’t previously realize it had. All in all a good beer to get a feel of the hop cultivar and fun to drink as well
