Look: Pours a clear and light, almost straw yellow with a sudsy white head that settles to a film and leaves good lacing behind
Aroma: I could smell it on the pour. Lychee, white table & Gewurtz grapes, cantaloupe melon, a little mango, kiwi, sweetened strawberries, light Cannabis, gooseberries, and sweet bready malt
Taste: Follows the nose well by starting with all things white grapes – flesh, juice, and skin – along with lychee, on full display and quickly joined by nice melon notes. Some mango, kiwi, berries, are evident and blend in nicely all in the middle before closing with more grapes and lychee and a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full but decently light, very clean, medium-high carbonation, and just a touch of dryness on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. This was an easy grab for me when I saw it, as between being Block 15, a collab with Pink Boots Society, and Nelson Sauvin hops, I was in and the ride was awesome. It’s a tasty and well-made WCIPA with a unique flavor/aroma and seems light on the malt bill, which further accentuates the hops. Recommended
