Poured at fridge temp. Pours pitch black with a solid inch and a half of light brown head. The nose is literally as described. Chocolate covered raspberries! Also picking up other fruit, like cherries. A touch of vanilla as well.
The taste is interesting. I like the individual notes, but I can't help but think a couple of flavors are clashing here. I get the chocolate, raspberry, but then a bitter roasty/woody note. It's this and the raspberry that combine to form a burnt raspberry type taste. Definitely different! Mild sweetness overall, with complimentary notes of vanilla, coffee grounds, and a slight cough syrup note. A bit tart as well.
Light mouthfeel and a fruity aftertaste.

Dark brown appearance with a slight tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a pleasant raspberry and malt. Taste is a slightly sweet very pleasant raspberry. A little thin.

16 oz. can purchased from Lifesource natural Grocers in Salem OR.
$3.79
Pours a black body with a small frothy tan head.
Lovely aromas of dark chocolate and raspberries, like a raspberry filled dark chocolate bar.
Taste is good. The chocolate flavor in particular is striking . Then we get the raspberry..not to sweet..natural.
Nice medium mouth feel and semi dry finish.
Overall excellent for the style.

Inky black pour, light head. One sniff and you're sitting in berry patch eating a bar of dark chocolate. A much different stout, with less on the malt and more on the fruit and sweetness. Much lighter on the tongue that you'd expect, with lingering afternotes of fruit and a hint of roasted grain. It's quite good; often, these attempts at stout / porter variations don't work, but the team at Block15 made it happen.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a quarter finger light khaki head that dissipates to a thick film with light lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet dark toasted malt, berries and cocoa. Flavor is dark toasted malt, cocoa and raspberry. Medium bodied with light creaminess, a bit thin for the style. A rather uncomplicated fruit infused stout. The base stout is nice, but the flavor thins out a little into the finish. Raspberry is fresh and authentic tasting. Delivers exactly what it promises, a dark malt stout with raspberry juice.

Jet black and clean bodied with a thin, red berry tinted tan foam on top. No coverage, no lace.
Smells of bakers chocolate, mineral water, lightly toasted bread, brown sugar, and tart raspberry juice. Well done.
Taste is mostly chocolate dipped in raspberry sauce. A bit of a nutty character makes the whole thing come off as a Raspberry Almond Roca. Cola like spices linger in the finish.
A little light on the feel. Smooth, watery, lightly carbonated. Sweet overall, but with roasty and dark chocolate bittering elements.
A fun beer that is well integrated with the extra ingredients. Definitely will be an annual purchase given the opportunity.
Cheers.

Can from joJohn's Marketplace.
A jet black with a dark brown head with dark red highlights, this beer looks solid. The nose is decadent with chocolate covered freeze dried raspberries. A mild roast note is present as well. The palate opens with a grainy bitterness with cocoa, a chicory like bitterness before a mild dark chocolate sweetness takes over. This is then followed by a nice raspberry note, particularly a dried raspberry character. Notes of vanilla and dark honey are present. Drying on the finish, this beer feels quite disjointed and unstructured on the palate. The dark roasted bitterness doesn't pair particularly well with the raspberry, and the watery mid palate is quite disappointing. Decent.
