This features Dolcita HBC 1019 hops. I looked up this hop in my reviews and seems several I had last year were really good. So I hope it will show up in more brews, but it's particularly good used with restraint in this Pale Ale.
Pours a clear gold color with long-lasting foam in the Blanche de Chambly goblet. Remarkable aroma of peach. The taste is green apricot with some toast and lime peel. Tangy and not at all sweet, but nicely fruity. Modest bitter aftertaste in keeping with a lighter sort of hoppy brew. Thoroughly quyaffable and refreshing. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 07/14/25.

Look: Golden yellow and lightly opaque with a nice-looking head that erupts to the rim and slowly settles, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Peachie-O’s candy, ripe but uncut peach, peach juice, wafts of melon, hints of orange flesh, and tangerine
Taste: Ripe peach jumps out at first and quickly joined by waves of peach juice, fruit, and Peachie-O’s that cover literally any and everything peach that your mind can drum up. A little orange and tangerine peek in in the middle and closes with some light melon and yep, you guessed it, more peach
Mouthfeel: Full, clean, smooth, medium-high carbonation, and soft and smooth on the finish
Overall: I dig it. I didn’t read the can description before I bought or tried this, but one whiff and then sip confirmed the presence of HBC 1019 as that hop is a straight-up peach bomb. Honestly, I’ve had mixed feelings about this hop previously but I think B15 did it right to use it solely as other beers with it try and blend the flavor it brings with other hop varieties but the peach is so damn strong, it always clashed or overpowered everything else. This is a tasty and peachy XPA for sure and something you should be aware of if you aren’t into peaches or peachy beer as 1019 delivers the KO. Check it out
