Jack Straw was listed as a strong amber ale flavored with spice and a good quantity of fresh pumpkin meat. The beer poured a hazy burnt orange color with a creamy, speckled, beige head. Vegetal aroma, pumpkin pie and light spice. Huge spice taste--nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice--vegetal pumpkin, lots of candy sweetness throughout, with a bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied, and quite drinkable. I thought pumpkin beer season was over for me, but I guess one more is acceptable.
