First had: on tap at their brewpub
Poured a cloudy amber brown, much lighter than I'd expect from a dunkel, and a thin white ringlet in lieu of a head. Aroma was sweet with German malts, bready, with a touch of cocoa powder. Taste was yeasty up front, definite wheat profile, sweet with caramel, a touch of cocoa powder, and some banana esters coming in end-palate. Medium-bodied. Not what I'd call a paradigm of the style, but still a nice beer in and of itself.
