Unlike the previous Selection Series IPAs, this one is a confluence of four hops: Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado, and Strata.

Just introduced, this beer should go far. Hazy pour comes with a thick, foamy head and wonderful fruit aroma. Just a sip and you know it's will be good...very good. Layers of hop flavor march across the palate: pineapple, tropical fruits and then a resin-like finish. Plenty of body and carbonation that lasts well into a long finish supported with a malty body and a 7% ABV. Block 15 has taken 4 well-known hop varieties a d made something new and exciting. Quite the accomplishment.

16-ounce can purchased at ABV Public House in Hillsboro, OR. Date stamp reads "". Enjoyed in a tumbler-style half-pint glass.
The body is a translucent yellow-gold which seems to have...a barely perceptible green tinge? Maybe? The thick eggshell white head gradually settles into a sturdy collar and mottled skin that leaves scattered lacing. The nose is a big fruity cocktail in a fishbowl, with mango, pineapple, orange juice, honeydew, strawberry punch, and alcohol. Flavor follows, with mango and pineapple pushing to the front and bitter orange marmalade hot on their trail. Moderate sweetness and tangy but not tart. The next wave is strawberry soft licorice, a squeeze of lime, and a growing bitterness. The third wave of fruit (third!) opens with watermelon and blurs into honeydew. A solid bitterness grounds the finish. Medium-bodied with eager carbonation, and drinks lighter than the body feels.
This is a complex IPA that's stacked with flavor. Not sure I could drink more than one in a session, but it's been fun picking apart the different layers of fruit. A really impressive offering from Block 15.

Here's another one in the running for my favorite IPAs of the year. Nearly clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the goblet. Highly aromatic with lime and green melon. Tastes of lemon peel, green melon, and raspberries. There's a resiny note and some pine. Quite tangy but not acidic, and fairly bitter but again it goes with the fruit. Quite flavorful and distinctly an American IPA with clean, clear hop taste. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 03/24/26 so it's quite fresh.
