Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice dark brown/black color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy two-finger light tan head, which does not last that long, and also leaves a pretty nice medium size island, and some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice chocolate/toffee notes, very slight coconut if any at all, vanilla, licorice, with some pretty nice roastyness. The taste is pretty nice malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice chocolate/toffee notes, very very slight coconut if any at all, vanilla, licorice, with some slight roastyness. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a dry/bitter finish. Overall this is pretty tasty.
