Poured into a Trilium glass a pretty nice dark brown/black color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy two-finger light tan head, which does not last that long, and also leaves a nice medium size oil slick, and some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice chocolate/toffee notes, pretty nice butter pecan, vanilla, licorice, with some roastyness/nutty note. The taste is pretty nice malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice chocolate/toffee notes, a pretty nice butter pecan note, vanilla, licorice, with some roastyness/nuttyness. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall this is pretty tasty.
