Laivuri means Skipper in Finnish. This light lager pours a straw/gold color with a fine white head and some trailing lace. A tea-like hop aroma rolls forth and slight metallic odor follows weakly. The light to medium malt is reminiscent of a salt-free Saltine. The hops are slightly metallic with some lemony citrus notes and a back of the throat harshness. This is a light and lively beer that will compliment spicy food very well.
