Can purchased and drank at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells kinda grassy, with melon, mango, and grapefruit.
There’s something semi chalky about this one that I don’t completely love. It’s got a decently juicy feel to it, but an oddly dry and chalky, almost vegetal finish.
This is creamy, but took a bit to get through the pour, due to the aforementioned flaws.
This didn’t quite do it for me overall.

Run of the mill looking, yellow cloudy body, with nice lacing down the glass. Smell is herbs, dank, onion, cilantro, papaya, mango, cream, lime. Taste is sweet towards the end but starts with dank and bitter citrus and pillowy sweetness. Pretty big carbonation for a beer like this but honestly that part feels like it goes super well. Surprisingly good overall.

Cheers to Joey and Schenker for reaching this point. Feeling nothing but excitement for the future. American IPA with Nelson and Motueka. (Also using Hopkief Motueka, a newer product of hop concentrate I haven't heard of until now.)
Appears hazy opaque yellow like the best modern IPAs. Fine bubbled foam collects itself nicely and leaves sticky lacing.
Fruity wafting aromas like key lime and mango. Brings to mind fruit-infused marshmallows, something on the culinary cutting edge.
Very soft palate. Notes of fanciful citrus zest, stone fruit smoothies, sauvignon blanc. Not picking up anything exact, but it is still quite a nice melange going on. Nice, understated tang.
New world hoppiness is vigorously smoothed over by a plush malt bill. Not overly juicy but clearly leaning more on that than something more classical. The bitterness does feel functional, at least enough to keep this from trailing into errant sweetness, but it is not a major contributing character.
A supremely well made, NZ focused IPA. I find those usually present a harder line to walk than some but the amount of finesse here signals well.
