Pint can of the Yuzu Glow Up from Schenker Beer Co. Served in some kind of a mini Weizen glass. BIG citrus hop aroma is bright, fruity, and immediate. Appearance is slightly to moderately cloudy yellow with a fair amount of head formation. Flavor is initially tart, but pleasantly so, but yields to a very balanced, even neutral body. Likewise, carbonation comes on pretty strong at first, but it actually works pretty well in this style. The body is just outstandingly refined and subtle, which is surprising considering how tart and fruity it comes in over the top. I'm really enjoying this beer at the intersection of a sessionable New England IPA and a traditional fruited Berliner Weizen.
