"Heady Topper-esque" , "Plinyish". Real good work by Rohrbach

Growler procured from Nathaniel Square Corner Store by stillmatic2232 and shared with me, thanks man!
Although this is billed as a Citra Double IPA, it is apparently brewed with Citra and Simcoe.
Pours a golden dark and slightly hazy orange, with a half inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells typically Citra-like, slightly catty, with tons of fruity aromas as well.
Falls victim to some of my typical pitfalls with heavily citra-hopped beers- the "cat pee" quality is moderately high. There is a medium amount of bitterness, with some dry herbal flavors mixed with orange and grapefruit flavors.
Medium bodied, the ABV doesn't really show itself, which is nice. Crisp, clean mouthfeel.
This is probably the best thing Rohrbach has ever done, they apparently got a new brewery, and this is promising.
