On tap at Rohrbach Brewing Company Brewpub in Ogden, NY.
Pours a dark brownish black, with a small half inch head, and small amount of lacing.
Smells like chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, and a bit of orange.
Tastes like a creamsicle, really. I was worried that this would be too cloying, as an adjuncted-up stout can tend to be, but the orange creamsicle flavor was well integrated, and balanced off by moderate roasty malt flavors, some chocolate, and a bit of bitterness from the malt. Well balanced and tasty.
This is quite creamy, as per the name, with a great, creamy fluffy mouthfeel. There's a pretty low level of carbonation.
This worked a lot better than I thought it would. Very nice stuff.
