Poured with a very strong head. Huge amount of trace lacing on the glass as this one wore down.
Clear mahogany in color. Excellent clarity.
Beautiful coffee and malt aromas awaited me as I prepared to down this pint. Very full and rich; I wonder if Jim didn't add a bit of oatmeal to this one.
Tastes like coffee but not quite the requisiite buzz. Given a pint of this and a pint of Bloomington Brewing Company's java porter side by side I'd go for theirs; then again, when's that gonna happen!
