Pint special at Rohrbachs on 26 June 2004. Nice looking brew. Appears to be unfiltered, consistent head with good lacing. I dig unfiltered lagers. Aromas of mulit-grain bread dough and noble hops rise to meet the nose. Some lemon notes are also detected. Taste is a satisfying balance of lightly toasted grains and leafy hops. Hops levels are modest though clearly perceptible. The brew is pretty clean, though there is a welcome yeast element that seemingly lends a certain tart character. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Drinkability - I enjoyed two pints with my dinner but could easliy have drank more.
