On tap at Sticky Lips BBQ in Henrietta, NY.
This one pours a dark but clear brown, with a small white foamy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells really nice- toasted bread, pumpernickel, dark fruit, etc- it's just about spot on, aroma-wise, to style.
This is really well done. It's got such a nice creamy taste to it, with spicy toasted bread- a bit like pumpernickel or rye, a bit of slightly sweet caramel, a hint of dark fruitiness. It's simple, but this style doesn't need to be complex to be well done.
This is medium bodied, creamy and rich, with a good level of carbonation. It's definitely very drinkable.
This is one of the best beers I've had from Rohrbach in a while now.
