A: dark in appearance with a reddish hue when held to the light, very little head or lacing, and very clear
S: bouquet is well presented and sweet. Caramel, prunes, and apricots are all present and work well together.
T: sweet and malty, this is a classic example of a bock. All of the flavors hinted in the nose come out wonderfully.
M: medium body with low carbonation. Quite silky.
D: one of the better offerings at the pub right now. I hope to see more of this one.

The Bock is back at Rohrbach's. I'm pretty sure this is a different recipe than it was before, but the name is the same. Rohrbach Bock is a crystal clear deep red beer with a thin off-white film that leaves nice lacing on the glass. The aroma has notes of chocolate, bread and roast. It smells grassy, with a a slight, soft sweetness. It is medium, maybe medium-full bodied, chewy, smooth and syrupy. The finish is sticky. It tastes slightly sweet, chocolatey and lightly fruity. The bitterness is light and grassy and the finish is tart. This is an ideal bock!
