On tap at Marshall Street Bar and Grill in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a super murky and muddy looking dark brown color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells very artificial with sugary strawberry, stale caramel malt, cheap chocolate, and vanilla extract.
I don't like this really at all, unfortunately. It adds an ungodly amount of sweetness to the base beer, and seems to make the base scotch ale more sweet, syrupy, and stale tasting. I'm honestly mind-boggling how badly this one went. It's just too artificial.
This is syrupy and too thick, and just not drinkable, at all, with too much residual sugar.
I don't mind the base beer typically here, but the efforts here just really ruined this beer.
