This Imperial Coffee Milk Stout was brewed with fresh Brazil roast beans from Fuego Coffee Roasters. The coffee imparts slightly fruity and strong roasted characteristics, while the complex grain bill offers notes of chocolate and caramel. Oats in the mash and lactose in the boil round the brew out with a smooth body and semi-sweet finish, while the high ABV imparts a sense of warmth to the imbiber.

On tap at L&M Lanes in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like freshly roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, caramel truffles, and roasted malt.
This is much better than I honestly would have expected. The coffee flavor is incredibly fresh and vibrant, adding caramel, chocolate, vanilla, spice, and a light fruitiness, along with a fresh clean roasty stout underneath. There's no booziness apparent at all.
This is medium bodied, pretty creamy, and very easy to drink, as the booze is hidden quite well.
This is easily one of the better beers from this brewery I've had in a while - I was pleasantly surprised, and I would certainly order this again.
