Rohrbach Don Barone's Brown Ale is very clear and solid brown with a thin, dense, mocha head that shows outstanding retention and lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet with chocolate and caramel notes. It has a smooth, medium-full, cookie dough body with a slightly gritty, dry finish. The flavor is well balanced. It's a little bitter and a little roasty. There are notes of caramel and chocolate liqueur. It's full flavored, big and brown.
