Rohrbach 44 Magnum is a slightly hazy golden ale with a huge, even, foamy off-white head. The retention and lacing is superb. It smells citrusy and grassy. There are notes of hay and maybe berries. It's medium-full bodied, slick and smooth. The finish is syrupy and sticky. It's quite bitter and the hops dominate. There are notes of citrus, wood resin, juniper, citrus peel and black pepper. It's slightly sweet. This is a total stunt beer and I love it.
