This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells pleasantly earthy and spicy, with citrus rind and grapefruit juice.
Rohrbach’s IPAs are wildly divergent in quality – luckily, this is a pretty tasty effort. I love that pleasantly “dirty” feel that wet-hopped beers has – freshly cut grass, spicy almost wood like flavors, just a sort of forested vibe to this. There’s also grapefruit, orange peel, and pineapple.
This is light bodied, slightly crisp, and pretty drinkable.
I wish I saw more harvest ales or wet hopped beers out there, I always enjoy them.

Rohrbach Harvest Ale is a clear, amber ale with a thin off white head that leaves decent lacing on the glass. It has an aroma that's grassy with some wood resin... peppery, botanical and a touch sweet. It has a huge, resiny flavor. It's quite bitter. The aftertaste is long and bitter and green, with notes of juniper and wood resin. It's solid. It reminds me of a red ale.
