Rohrbach Winter Wassail is a very dark brown ale with great clarity and a small beige head that leaves nice, even lacing on the glass. It has a very chocolaty aroma. Ginger is present in the nose. It has a smooth, medium body that's a little chewy... especially at the finish. There is lots of chocolate and ginger in the flavor. It's well balanced. There's a sharp aftertaste of hops and ginger. It's a very unique beer.
