A sneakily easy drinking hazy IPA. Citrus forward with notes of candied orange, lemon and grapefruit with hints of pine and spice.

Draft pour at Rohrbach. From the tap list: “ Different Animal IPA is a well-balanced, classic American IPA that blurs the line between East Coast and West Coast India pale ale styles. Animal is brewed with a hop blend of El Dorado, Talus, Mosaic, and Azacca for citrus-forward notes of candied orange, lemon, and grapefruit balanced by hints of pine and spice.” Lovely nose. More West Coast in appearance but very nice.

Fresh off the tap at Innovative Field. Looks good, tastes good. I find it very tasty and pleasing. With no pesky bitterness to spoil my enjoyment thereof.

Taster at brewpub / taproom. Golden pour, small foamy white head. Aroma and taste are hoppy, oily, piney. Sticky feel finishes it. Mild on the citrusy notes.

Can purchased at the Little Cafe in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a slightly hazy dirty orange color, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This is definitely reminiscent of Railroad St IPA, but a bit juicier. The bitterness trends to astringent as the beer warms up a bit, and there's a definite overuse of perfumey bitterness - it almost gets soapy.

This is medium bodied, creamy, with a big lingering bitterness on the back end.

This wasn't bad by any means, it just felt a little bit sloppy when it came to the bitterness.
