Presentation: It was poured from tap and served in a pint glass at the Rohrbach brewpub.

Appearance: Its body has a pale golden color with good clarity. The head is small and fades to just a ring of white foam in no time. This ring hangs on as I drink and leaves some spotty lace on the glass.

Smell: The aroma is light and offers light fruity maltiness, balanced herbal/floral hops and a slight mineral note in the background.

Taste/Palate: Its light to medium body has mellow pale bready malt with light buttery notes and some sweet fruitiness balanced by light herbal and floral hops. It finishes with mellow sweetness just over light hop bitterness. The palate has a smooth feel with light carbonation which is easily quaffable.

Notes: Over all a little simple but pairs well with food.

Rohrbach Pale Rider is a hazy golden ale with a white splotch of a head. It has a faint herbal, medicinal aroma. It has a soft medium/medium-light body with a clean, dry finish. It starts a touch sweet and then the herbal bitterness takes over and balances it out. It makes for very easy drinking. Quafferiffic.
