BEAR'S BROWN ALE (AKA "MY BEER" BROWN ALE) - Don't bother with Newcastle, drink this brown ale! A combination of American and English ingredients gives us this barely known beer style (most people automatically think brown ales are "light" porters!). With an emphasis on brown malt and chocolate malt, this brown ale is malty, medium-bodied, and finishes with the sharpness of Cascade hops. It has two names: one by a certain individual who won a raffle, and one for a Rohrbach brewer's betrothed! 5.2% ABV

Rohrbach Bear's Brown Ale is a clear, reddish brown ale with a thin white head that fades to leave nice lacing on the glass. It has a roasty, nutty aroma with notes of coffee and chocolate. It has a soft medium body with a light, dry finish. It has a nice, roasty, nutty flavor that exhibits good balance. There are notes of toffee and coffee. It's very satisfying and drinkable.
