On tap at Dead Red Pecker in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a golden dark brown color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.

This smells like caramel, Werther’s candy, vanilla, chocolate, and bourbon.

This is really surprisingly tasty, especially for Rohrbach. They’re not a bad brewery, but barrel aged beers aren’t exactly their forte. It gets a little boozy astringent as it warms up, but cold, it’s a malty and bourbon-laden treat. There’s caramel and chocolate mainly, with a hint of vanilla.

This is medium bodied, slightly creamy, with a pretty good drinkability.

This was a nice little surprise – the Parting Glass series does tend to be some tasty beers.
