English stout that features a mix of dark and crystal malts, resulting in a high ABV beer that warms the heart while still being easy drinking, with ample notes of coffee and chocolate.

On tap at Rohrbach Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like coffee and chocolate, but in a bit more of a sweet way than I was expecting.
This is not quite fully attenuated, as it feels a bit syrupy on the end, which is not exactly a feature of this style. It’s got lots of coffee and even more chocolate, milk chocolate, to be exact, adding a lot of sweetness.
This is medium bodied, but too syrupy for the style, with not the highest level of drinkability.
This usually is up Rohrbach’s alley, but it didn’t quite hit for me.
