This American stout utilizes a tasty blend of caramel and English malts, offering a robust drinking experience without going overboard on ABV. Notes of dark chocolate and coffee play at the nose, mingling with flavors of dark bread, toasty caramel, and stone-fruit (dark cherry, plum). A slightly dry/astringent finish warms the bones. An homage to the changing seasons, the name was cribbed from Robert Frost's poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening."

On tap at Rohrbach Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells chocolatey, with some roasted malt, and licorice.
This has a very nice balance to it, with a good swing between sweet and bitterness. There’s lots of roast and herbal licorice bitterness, but also a very pleasant chocolatey sweetness.
This is medium bodied, creamy, but crisp on the finish.
This is definitely a solid and very straightforward basic stout.
