A hazy India Pale Ale brewed with a mix of oats, wheat, and pale malt for a silky full-bodied mouthfeel. A prodigious single dry-hopping of krush, citra, and mosaic hops offer lush aromas of orange and mango with a delicate pop of bitterness on the finish. Cosmic Krush is the hazy IPA cousin of our classic Space Kitty.

Pours a hazy gold. Thin foam. Hoppy aroma. Tropical fruit body. Mild bitter finish. Light sweetness. Good flavor. Very good.

On tap at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells quite juicy, especially for Rohrbach, a certainly older-school brewery. There’s mango and orange primarily, with some soft bitterness barely on the nose.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Krush hops, but along with Citra and Nelson, it seems to make for an IPA with a whole lot of mango and orange, and just generally a lot of juicy citrus. There’s a whisp of bitterness here, and a really nice softness on the finish.
This is quite drinkable, with a nice smooth and creamy finish.
This just might be the best IPA that I’ve had from Rohrbach – it’s not traditionally a style that they excel in.
