A - Pours a dark amber color with a massive amount of carbonation and a thin but even creamy caramel colored head.
S - Bananas, clove, spices, and mildly earthy.
T - Mimics the nose with bananas, cloves, spice, and bready with a slight bit of earthy funk going. This beer actually reminds me more of a German Wheat than it does a Belgian style of beer. Has a tame pine bite at the very end to balance this beer out with a nice lingering finish of spices, cloves, and pine. A little yeasty as well.
M - Medium body, chewy, A little sticky on the lips.
O - Worth a try but like I said, this reminds me more of a well crafted German Wheat than a Belgian Dubbel.
