This dark mild is a traditional English ale. It is light malt forward with slight caramel flavours for that touch of sweetness.

Single can from the brewery - aggressively poured into a dimpled mug.
Pours a fairly dark brown with reddish highlights and a big 2 plus fingers of creamy, puffy tan head with significant lacing.
Aroma cold initially a little muted, but as warmed a bit nutty, some caramel, and the slightest whiff of licorice.
Malty on the palate - again a bit nutty, a touch of chocolate and caramel and a very soft roastiness with minimal bitterness.
Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel - average carbonation. Exceptionally easy to drink/gulp.
