Poured into a narrow imperial pint glass: color is gold, clear/transparent, head is off white with fine to small bubbles, head presents one finger thick and dissipates to solid top with some light lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is clean, light pilsner and toast, crisp hops, some grape nuts.
Taste is more pronounced with pilsner, toast, grape nuts, crisp hops with earth and light grass; excellent maibock flavor.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderates sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.
Overall an excellent maibock - malt forward with prominent backing noble hops, notes of pilsner and clean lager yeast fermentation define it.
